a bit snug

Mountain Hardwear Tilton Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Tilton Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

I often find it odd that there are times when clothing makers don't seem to follow the industry standard for sizes. Why is it that this shirt fit me snug and another shirt I bought (Marmot Vista Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's) fit me a bit too big? The material of this shirt is great and I know I'll get years out of it during the summer months and I like the color (lava), but I just can't get over the fact that for a large it fits a bit snug and I'm normally built 32" waist and a 42" chest at 6'2". I do like the shirt though.

Not bad.

No real complaints. It's a bit big for a large, but I can't complain. I wear it as an over shirt on cooler days when I'm hiking or hanging around a "biergarten" (I live in Germany). The quality appears good and my wife says the color suits me. I'm rather satisfied.

Good at first sight, but time will tell

Oakley Square O Crew Sock - Men's

Oakley Square O Crew Sock - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 10, 2009

I've bought so many socks over the years that I've become rather hardened. Nike has just about sent me over the edge. No more Nike socks! They're horrible and not worth the money. Underarmor socks were a joke! I bought a few pairs and at first they seemed good. I've begun to call the "case of the every shrinking socks"! They just get smaller and smaller. I wear a size 12 - 13 depending on the shoe. The underarmors I have now (bought about a year ago) will soon be passed on to an infant and I believe that might fit my big toe. In the case of the Oakley... so far so good. They initially felt good and looked great. I'd like to see how they are after about six months and then add to this review. I have the white with black trim style. They are extremely comfortable and look great. I wore them the other day on a light hiking trek. They wore well and kept my feet pretty dry; a bit of expected lint between my toes. I truly have nothing but good thoughts. Did I mention that I was wearing Oakley Basic Training shoes at the time? Great pair of shoes if you can still find them.

Warm and bit too snug

Marmot Roasta Fleece Jacket - Men's

Marmot Roasta Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 7, 2009

I live in Germany and it has snowed recently along with some extreme cold temperatures (try 20- C)! Nice coat, very warm, but a bit too snug. I'm 6'2, 188 lbs with a 32" waist and 44" chest. I'm not fat by any means, but I felt an L didn't fit me well. I normally wear an L and still have some wiggle room. Recommended nontheless.
