Great boots, great fit

Dynafit ZZeus TF-X Ski Boot - Men's

Dynafit ZZeus TF-X Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 16, 2009

I got these boots since they fit my skinny, high arched feet way better than any of the Garmonts or BD's I tried on. Uphill they are light enough and are fairly comfortable, downhill they are super stiff. These are my first AT boots, and after a full season of resort and backcountry touring I can now say that I will never go back to standard alpine boots, or any other brand for that matter. The absolute best thing about these boots is that after a full day of touring/skiing, my feet feel fresh and pain-free.

Meh

Marmot Twofer Alpinist Glove

Marmot Twofer Alpinist Glove

Rating for this product: 3 December 8, 2008

I have tried the medium and large sizes in this glove and they both fit pretty badly. No matter what size I tried there was still anywhere from .5" to 1" of empty glove at the fingertips. Also neither size I ordered had the "removable liner" as quoted in the description. These glove instead have the 2 in 1 technology, which is nice, but not what I ordered. The 2 in 1 gives you the switchable option between warmth and grip. While these gloves look nice and feel nice, they do not fit well and there is no removable liner. I will not order gloves online again and I don't think I'll get Marmots either.
