North Face Hits a Homerun

The North Face Aguila 33 Tent 3-Person 3-Season

The North Face Aguila 33 Tent 3-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 May 27, 2009

All I can say is that this is the best tent I have ever owned. I was somewhat skeptical that I was just buying a name like when I bought North Face shoes (they fell apart). This tent is a true performer. I just spent 8 days in this bad boy and it performed perfectly. I have the footprint for it. I went on a 3-day trip without the footprint and I would definitely recommend purchasing them together. The pole system looks hokey when you first see it, but you learn to love it! It is very easy to set up and take down. I like a bit of extra space and this gives it to you although, it is a bit heavy for long trips. For me it is worth the weight. It is strong in the wind and I got no water inside the tent at all. There is a lot of floor space in the vestibule but the rain flap takes the vertical space, but with both sides with doors, you can fit a lot of crap in there. A+

Another North Face Homerun

The North Face Megamouth Backpack - 1100cu in

The North Face Megamouth Backpack - 1100cu in

Rating for this product: 5 April 29, 2009

I purchased 2 of these. One for me and one for my 10 year old boy. As a Scoutmaster, we are always taking day hikes and this hydration pack has proven to be all a good hydration pack should be. There is plenty of room to take the things you need to on a day hike, yet it is very comfortable. The only slight miss is that the waist strap seems a bit thin for the pack. All in all it is not a big deal i dont carry anything heavy enough for it to matter too much.

Good Pants

Ex Officio Amphi Pant - Men's

Ex Officio Amphi Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 29, 2009

These are quality pants. I wear them fishing, hiking and camping. The only thing I dont like is the mesh on the inside that acts as some sort of wierd underwear. Other than that they are very durable and have held up well against the abuse I have thrown at them. I will buy another pair.

Rating for this product: 5 April 26, 2009

I lave used this pack for about a year now (once an month overnighter). This is very comfortable and can fit all the stuff I usually end up taking on my hikes. It is extremely comfortable and I have never worn another pack like it. For the money this has been a great investment!

Mountain Hardwear Matterhorn Convertible Pant - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Matterhorn Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2009

These pants are very durable. I like the fact that that the shorts are a bit longer and not something out of the 80's. Plenty of pocket space for my gadgets. I had to send the XL back for XXL. They were a bit snug where they didn't need to be. They need to make the XXL waist and the XL legs together and it would be perfect. Over all the pants are the best out there. Great gear at great prices!
