recommend these boots

The North Face McMurdo Boot - Women's

The North Face McMurdo Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 4, 2009

Having come off of reconstructive surgery on my right foot, and being a very heavy pronator, I needed to find a boot that would provide comfort and support especially in snow and ice conditions/ post ski. These boots worked well but if you are a heavy pronator, custom orthotics will also be helpful. Boots are true to size, keep you warm, work well in snow and on ice, and are comfortable providing more stability that apres ski boots.

great jacket to layer

Columbia Hart Mountain II Full-Zip Jacket - Women's

Columbia Hart Mountain II Full-Zip Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 4, 2009

The jacket has a good fit and it's not bulky so you can use it as a layer for skiing - it keeps you warm. Attractive cut. Stitching is a little weak around the pockets - the pocket lining separated on second wear.

Nice jacket

Orage Thrilla Insulated Jacket - Men's

Orage Thrilla Insulated Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 4, 2009

Jacket is well made and warm especially on very cold days on the mountain lifts. Great features (interior pockets, exterior pockets, two way zipper, etc) and the hood keeps you warm and can fit over a helmet if necessary. Purchased the jacket in white. Even though it came in contact with dirt, the dirt was easily removed. Good length.
