The North Face Apex Glove - Men's

December 3, 2008

just got the gloves...love them so far. was thinking of giving them a couple coats of waterproofing spray for extra protection, but don't was to lose the grip on the palms and fingers. Has anyone tries spraying these gloves or a pair with a similar grippy surface?(yes, I could just not spray the palm and fingers but that prob wouldn't do much good from a waterproofing standpoint)

The North Face Apex Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 3, 2008

Got these gloves a week ago and have worn them every day to walk my dog. I needed a pair that could give me waterproof protection and some insulation but were thin enough and grippy enough to allow me to operate a flexi leash, flashlight, or cell phone.

They are thin gloves and would not provide enough insulation for extreme winter weather or for extended periods outside (wouldn't work as ski gloves unless skiing out west in the spring), but are good enough for jogging, short hikes, or walking the dog on a cold day (wore them for an hour in 20 degree weather with no problems).
