  • Stomping Grounds:

    new england and abroad
  • Bio:

ah, the smell of pine trees and being above the clouds. add that in with some long hard days, some steep exposed climbing and you got yourself an adventure.

just kidding! solid socks though. use them for my 6 mile runs and they fit great. one gripe though... i only bought one pair. thin socks so you'll be looking more for a perfect fit and awesome breathability than warmth and cushioning. much better than my defeet aireaters.

haven't worn flippin floppers since i was five but these things felt good right off the bat. they fit nice, tread is great, look snazzy. little heavier than i was anticipating but that's probably because they're durable.

Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite Sleeping Pad

Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite Sleeping Pad

Rating for this product: 4 July 17, 2009

cheap, durable, lightweight. as far as uninflatables go, this thing is the best. you'll hafta spend an extra hundred to get something better and anything cheaper isn't worth it. 4 stars compared to the neoair. this thing is the way to go for backpacking. kayaking needs an inflatable for space's sake.

bad things: (1)the zipper pulls fell off. no big deal: replaced with string.(2)no water bottle holders! weird. no big deal. bought a camelback. much better.(3)butt slid in winter. scratched up the bottom. solution: cover with duct tape when you plan on beating it up.
awesome pack. great dorsal ventilation. comfortable + light. good for a day hike, better for an UL overnight/multinight trip.pockets in hipbelt great for a small(one clif bar per pocket)snack or a camera. bottom line: great pack that'll get lots of use.

great for running and hiking. keep your junk in place. not too tight, feel true to size. dry fast but doesn't really matter 'cuz you can wear them wet and they'll feel pretty dry (the body heat will dry them off just as fast as a dryer anyways). bottom line: worth the money!
