Julbo Dirt Sunglasses - Polarized 3 Lens

Julbo Dirt Sunglasses - Polarized 3 Lens

Rating for this product: 4 June 1, 2009

This review is hard for me. I wanted to give 5 stars so bad - the fit, style, weight blew me away right out of the box and every time I put them on for a trail run or bike ride. However, they're not very breathable. I kind of think these fit my face so well that it's kind of like I'm wearing swim goggles - super comfy ones, that is - that don't allow much air flow. It only gets foggy when I'm hot and the air is cold or if I stop moving during high exertion. I wouldn't give these up though. The benefits to me far outweigh the small issue of a little fog at times...

Pretty much the cutest thing ever - and super practical

SmartWool Bannerstripe Bootie - Infants'

SmartWool Bannerstripe Bootie - Infants'

Rating for this product: 5 June 1, 2009

We were first given a pair of these socks and are now trying to get a pair for everyday of the week. The little one's tootsies are always warm, but, get this: these socks stay on! It's true. Try as they might, but that baby ain't working these socks off during the night. I'll guarantee each of you parents at least an extra hour of sleep in the morning because your baby won't wake up with icecubes for toes...

Skinny in the toe box?

The North Face Sorceress GTX Hiking Shoe - Women's

The North Face Sorceress GTX Hiking Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 June 1, 2009

Still trying to figure this out since I'm not the one wearing these. However, on two longer hikes, my 7 year old has complained of pain near or on her pinky toe - though the length of shoe seems to be right on. It hasn't stopped her from wearing them or being excited to hike, but I'm wondering if it will break in and she'll find more comfort or if the tightness will persist...

Perfect for my 10 year old

Columbia Tagori Hiking Shoe - Women's

Columbia Tagori Hiking Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 1, 2009

My daughter is on the skinny side - tall and lanky with skinny feet. Seems like any shoe she tried was so heavy for her. This shoe fits her like a charm and she seems to have found a skip to her step on the trail when wearing these relative to a tennis shoe. Plus, she's totally stoked to have her own "hiking" shoes - a huge prop when it comes time to get her out the door...

Backcountry.com Backcountry Logo T-Shirt - Men's

Backcountry.com Backcountry Logo T-Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 June 1, 2009

Love how this shirt is skinny throughout and has a lot of length to it. I am 6'3" with a disproportionately long torso and it's really hard to find a shirt that likes to hang out near the waist band of my shorts. This shirt does it. The wool fabric is a little too hot for this Spring weather for me.

Great performance, arm fit issue

Backcountry.com Cocona Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Backcountry.com Cocona Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 June 1, 2009

Love the fabric and it's properties - they really work. I'm fairly skinny through the chest and this shirt hugs just perfectly. I feel like the arm sleeves flare out a bit - would rather have the shirt fit tight throughout. Of course, I don't have much to speak of in the biceps department, so there's that...

Very simple, soft and valuable. Great summer running shirt. Not much else to say other than this would be a great shirt to stock up on if you don't do your laundry very often...

Messy and a little too sweet

Honey Stinger Protein Bars - 12 Pack

Honey Stinger Protein Bars - 12 Pack

Rating for this product: 2 May 4, 2009

Content-wise, a good bar. The peanut butter flavor is a little sweet - tastes a lot like a candy bar relative to other protein bars I've had. The chocolate coating is super soft, melts way too easily and even flakes off when you open the package. By the time I get to work after my swim, I've got specs of chocolate all over my shirt and pants.

Pretty simple stying, fabric and fit. That's good. For minimalist runners, this is a good option to showing off the dark chest hair on white skin.

Make sure to check out the sizing chart for MP products. They run big. Great shirt. Perfect fabric - airy and a little on the stiff side. Love the snap buttons.

Backcountry.com Shift Welder Hoody - Men's

Backcountry.com Shift Welder Hoody - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2009

Fit is great - enough length in the sleeves to hit just above my thumb (I have 34" sleeve length). I'm a little on the thin side and the athletic fit is perfect relative to other jackets that overwhelm my skinny frame. This thing breathes very well at high aerobic activity (1 hr at 155 bpm heart rate avg) with very little wetness staying inside the jacket. The Tahoe blue was exactly what I expected when I purchased.

CW-X Pro Tights - Men's

December 18, 2008

I think you'd fit the Medium really well. However, the Large would have a longer inseam and be a little bit "looser" than the medium, though they'll both stick to your legs.

Yup, just pull it off - it's supposed to come a part at that junction. You can also pull the mouthpiece off the other end as well.
