The North Face Khumbu Fleece Jacket - Women's

September 26, 2009

I'm wondering what size to get! I'm 5'4'' and about 120 lbs. My arms are a little long and my shoulders are a little broad. I'm anticipating layering this jacket with just a long sleeve shirt under it. I want a fit that will look cute walking around my college campus (not super tight but not really baggy), and that will also be comfortable for hiking and backpacking. Would a small or extra small be better? Thanks!

The North Face Roadrunner 23 Footprint

March 1, 2009

I just purchased the Roadrunner 23 BX tent, which is just a newer model of the Roadrunner 23. The floor space is 1 square foot smaller that the older tent. Will this footprint still work on my tent? I didn't see a footprint made specifically for the BX model on The North Face website.

The North Face Borealis Backpack - 1830cu in

December 1, 2008

I was originally looking at The North Face Jemma pack, but after some thought, I decided something bigger like the Borealis might be better. I do, however, have a couple questions. The Jemma is made specifically for women, so if I go with the Borealis or the Recon, will the difference in comfort be significant for a 5'4" person? Also, does the Borealis have that back saver technology, and how much difference does that make in comfort?

Osprey Packs Stratos 24 Backpack - 1300-1700cu in

November 29, 2008

I've been looking for a pack that I can use for both school and day hikes. I'm a senior in highschool, and going off to college next year, so I want something that isn't too big but can carry a good amount. Will the Stratos 24 do the job, or is the Talon 22 a better bet for school and hiking? I'm also 5'4'' and about 120 pounds, so would a size small be best for me in either of those packs?
