I have only worn these on a couple trips, but the winds were 40+ and the pants kept me warm and dry, i.e. no condensation developed. They’re lightweight and fold up pretty small if space is a issue. I've also got the Marmot dri-clime shirt that comes in handy for the same reasons. Thanks for the great service. I'll be back for more later.

Water Bucket aka Easy Access External Pocket

Granite Gear Water Bucket - 2 Gallons

Granite Gear Water Bucket - 2 Gallons

Rating for this product: 5 June 20, 2005

This is an ultralight, versatile piece of gear. I use it to tote water and as a reservoir while I'm pumping water, also as an external pocket on for my Granite Gear Vapor Trail that gives me easy access to my water pump, pullover, and other items I need without going into my pack when I take a break.

Light and compact, but way too wet inside

GoLite Ether Windshirt - Unisex

GoLite Ether Windshirt - Unisex

Okay for an outer layer if you're not all sweaty, but if you need to vent this won't do it, this jacket does not breathe as advertised. It's a bummer to be wet and clammy under this. Oh well, to stay dry I'll have to haul a few extra ounces and carry a shell that does breathe.
