Slow but good filter

MSR MiniWorks Ex Water Filter

MSR MiniWorks Ex Water Filter

Rating for this product: 3 November 11, 2009

This was a good filter but very slow. I would recommend getting the MSR HyperFlow Microfilter. I used this filter on the same trip that I used the MiniWorks and the HyperFlow is so much faster.

I love this pad. Very good for keeping you warm and comfortable at night. I will never go another night with a stiff back camping or backpacking.

Best bag i have ever had.

Big Agnes Lost Ranger Sleeping Bag: 15-Degree Down

Big Agnes Lost Ranger Sleeping Bag: 15-Degree Down

Rating for this product: 5 June 22, 2009

This is the best bag I have ever had. There is a ton of room and I stayed warm even though it got a little wet. I love how the bad slips in the back of the bag and how there is a special pocket for your pillow.

Ok Filter

MSR MiniWorks Ex Water Filter

MSR MiniWorks Ex Water Filter

Rating for this product: 2 June 22, 2009

The MSR MiniWorks is a good filter. My only complaint is that is is pretty slow. If I were going to get a different filter I would get the MSR SweetWater Microfilter. A fellow backpacker had that filter and it was a lot faster.

Amazing Stove

Jetboil Group Cooking System with 1.5 Liter Cooking Pot

Jetboil Group Cooking System with 1.5 Liter Cooking Pot

Rating for this product: 5 June 22, 2009

I really enjoyed this stove. I took it on a 4 day backpacking trip to about 10,500ft. It is very easy to use, lights quick and boils water extremely fast. I went with someone that brought a MSR WhisperLite Stove and by the time they would get their stove lit my water was done boiling. I didn't have any problems with this at all.
