The best multi-function altimeter watch I have owned

Highgear Altis TI Altimeter Watch

Highgear Altis TI Altimeter Watch

Rating for this product: 5 November 26, 2008

I have owned 3 Casio altimeter/barometer watch's. All of them were kind of bulky. Then I bought a Highgear model Alterra 2 years ago. After the first year the outer covering on the side came loose. I contacted Highgear and they said to return it. They replaced it with no questions. Almost 1 year later the same thing happened. At this point they had released a new model, the Altis, without the covering. I asked if I could upgrade to the Altis and only pay the difference and they agreed. I have had it now for about 2 weeks. Function wise it is just as great as the Alterra. It is very accurate. What I prefer over other brands is the altimeter operates in 1 foot increments. For the money this is probably the best value you can find and the support is excellent.
