DAKINE Sequence Backpack w/ Camera Block - 2000cu in

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2009

At first i was a little sketch on its size but after using it for a few weeks now i have to say i am pretty pleased. It is plenty big to hold the goods (for me thats a D90 or D300). I can fit about 3 lens in this, and the camera block's compartments are adjustable, so when you are constantly putting different lens in like me ( sometimes its a 50mm sometimes a 70-200 F2.8!) they fit well. I took a helluva tumble with this and about 4000 dollars worth of gear in this bag, and it was a baaaaad tumble, about 120 yds at least head over heals. but, guess what, everything was stillin 100% condition afterwards and shooting my buddies huck the same cliff with good gear intact, made my day!

Great ski for those who stay inbounds

Moment Tahoe Alpine Ski

Moment Tahoe Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2009

I have this years model in 188. Mounted with Salomon STH 14's at -3cm. The recomended mounting line is -7cm. I like them a lot. They ride smooth, very damp. The groomers are a blast, no speed limits. They do ski shorter then they appear to be, im 5'11" and i feel like they are only 175's. Off jumps they have lots of pop and smooth on the landings. The big square tips and tails are great, and very unique. You will get lots of questions about them!! In fresh pow they do so-so. Its not made for super deep days and i wouldnt recomend them for that. That being said these are an inbounds ski. I think if you like skiing iside the ropes ( and i mean ANYWHERE inside the ropes) these are definitely the skis for you.

Oh yeah, the skis are TOUGH. I give it up to Moment on these skis. The PBT topsheets don't really chip at all, very minimal. Sidewalls are super tough and the bases are hard as a rock. Ive tinged quite a lot of rocks so far and they have zero marks on them. Very durable ski's.

So far, about 30 days on them.

The one ski you will ever need!!

Volkl Aura Ski - Women's

Volkl Aura Ski - Women's

If you're a woman who needs new ski's, buy these ones!!!!! These are the best boards i have ever been on. It was time for new sticks this year and i demoed about 4 different pairs and fell immediatly in love with these. They will go anywhere. On groomers they carve fast, the tip chatter is very minimal and only when you are going at break neck speeds. Short or long turns they do excactly what you want to. In powder those softer tips are great, and the float is amazing. They are extremely durable so far (about 15 days on them).

I'm 5'6" 140 lbs. 163cm Length, mounted with Rossignol SAS 120's (wish i would of used these for an AT settup) Get these, they are super stable and a ton of fun. best womens ski i have ever personally been on.

Nordica Supercharger Jr. Ski Boot - Kids'

January 10, 2009

When their feet are too big for kids' boots. Well that answer isn't very good. As you can see these boots are made up to adult sizes. My wifes 28yrs old and wears a 24, should she wear these cause they fit?? NO. its when your kids can still flex the boots. Usually its really dependent on their skill set. My daughter is 8, she wears these boots, can flex them with no issues ( she weighs 53lbs) but has been skiing for about 5 years now. Someone who was just starting might have a hard time flexing these because they just havent devoloped the muscles needed or know how to yet. Kids boots should stiff, but flexable.

K2 Kung Fujas Alpine Ski

November 24, 2008

Its time for a new pair of sticks and im really considering these. I skied on 174 2007 Foils as my All mountain skis the last two years but they are in need of a replacement. I liked them, but they didnt ski switch as great as the VCT's i had owned. I am need of a ski that will ski anything, I ski AK and CO (live in AK) and i own some powder boards already. When i take my kids out on the weekends i have to be able to hit the groomers fast with them. In between checkin up on the kiddos ill hit north face up for some fresh, or go hit the terrain park, or just hit groomers with my buddies in tow. Im torn between this ski, the 09 blend, the prophet 100, and for some reason the Salomon Lord. Only reason i like the lord is it seems to be basically a salomon foil with a wood core and some tiny rocker. Is this basically the same ski as the old Seth?? It seems to be basically but i am worried it is too soft to go fast on groomers.Oh yeah, im 5'11" 195lbs. Planned on getting the 179
