Amazing

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 21, 2008

I use this jacket for snowboarding and on any expedition in to cold wet places. Pre-sidewinder I used to feel damp from perspiration and that would make me feel cold. Now I am literally bone dry the whole day! It fits really well and you feel like you have room to maneuver, but it's very very light. It's stylish, the fabric is very rugged and I love the fact that it has three pockets on the outside and a little one on the inside. On sunnier days you can open the under-arm zips for added ventilation. I got the tarragon, but wish I'd got the cobalt so that my friends can spot me in the crowd by the lifts a bit easier!

Arc'teryx Delta AR Fleece Jacket - Men's

December 20, 2008

DELTA AR v. MAVERICK AR. I'm considering one of these two jackets. Does anyone know what the pros & cons are of the two? Which is warmer for instance?

Windproof?

Arc'teryx Delta SV Fleece Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Delta SV Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 25, 2008

Who are these people who complain about the lack of windproofing? Don't you get it? This is supposed to be a layer UNDER a shell. It's the shell that should be providing windproofing. If they had made this jacket more windproof, then it would take away from it's breathability. Then the moisture retention would create it's own problems in freezing temperatures, and then I for one would not have bought it. This jacket is probably not fire proof either, but so what?
