I haven't worn a pair of boots in more years than I'll admit here, ok 25 years. I know things have changed a lot since the stiff boots I used to wear as a kid, but these boots are awesome. The cushioning is almost as good as my running shoes. In fact, I just ran about 2 miles in them in a freezing windstorm while cheering on my teammates.

These are tuff boots and they last a long time. BUT after 10 or 20 miles they tend to fall off.

I've had this unit for 5-6 years now. I keep losing it in the bottom of a drawer but when I use it, it works great. The screen can't compare to today's but the battery life is good and you can bring extra AA's for those weekend trips. I use it as a safety net when I'm in a new place.

Before you buy this "new and improved" model, check out the 305. I think it's better.

This Rhino is packed with features! In addition to everything the 110 and 120 have, the 130 also boasts: 1) a built-in electronic compass. Handy for when you're not moving to orient yourself for the next leg of your route.

After 70 or so miles of running these are the only thing I can get down. They are extra smooth and not as thick as other gels. Bottom line anything is better than being bent over tossing your cookies on the side of the trail. The package is way too wide and can cut the sides of your mouth.

I've downed more gallons of this stuff than I can count. In races, half my calories come from it. It can be mixed extra strong or extra week. I've even mixed it 1/2 and 1/2 with nuun. I couldn't run without it.

The taste isn't as good as some others and you have to get the mixture just right.

I first tried Nuun because I forgot to pack what I usually use. I was surprised at how well it worked without any calories. Now I use it all the time.

I love that there are 3 sizes to choose from, so depending on your choice of bottle or bladder and how far you are going there's a nuun product just for you.

I found that running in snow is not a good use for these. They fill up with snow quickly there in the NW. I'm now using screws in the bottom of my shoes cheaper and better.

A bottle is a bottle right. Yeah, but the holder doesn't slip off this one like other designs. That's great for when you have two in one hand and a gel in the other.

This vest is great for the hottest days of summer and you don't want to carry a heavy sweaty pack.

If you are going to carry a bottle on your hip do it sideways. There's less bounce and stress around your waist.

Sometimes just a bite is better, especially on the run.

This hat works great not too hot like the thicker ones.

I love this Down Sweater (Jacket) it's super light. I use it to warm up after a long wet run on a cold winter morning.

Not as bright as my other 4 led headlamp but it lasts longer. If I'm running all night that's a lot more important. It has held up great in the rain and snow.

This is my go to head lamp when I need the power of the Sun to light my way on those tough technical trails without the weight of a large 4xAA battery light. I use Lithium Ion batteries in it which last a lot longer and are 50% brighter than regular batteries.

The small sack I have works great for clothes and food. I've never had anything end up getting wet even after sitting in the bottom of a wet canoe for hours. 18 months later and it's still waterproof.

This little filter is great. I can fill a 3 liter bladder in just a few minutes. The water tastes great even from out some would consider a mud puddle.

I use this pack for running and it's indestructible. It has an extra large capacity with lots of little pockets. A Pocket or 2 in the front would be better, but if you're not in a hurry then there's no worry.

If you have a bladder you have to have this cleaner. Bottom line the hose cleaner works great at cleaning and drying.

It helps air dry your bladder to prevent mold. Sure you could use a metal hanger so something else but that could damage your bladder or leave contaminants in it. Buy this as a kit and save money.

The size and fit take some getting used to but it has all the features you would need as a recreational runner and then some. The software is too much fun, track your heart rate and speed and elevation throughout your run and compare to previous results. If you have to have 100% accurate distance and elevation I'd choose a foot pod based wrist top computer.

I use this with my T6c and it works great. I got about 3 months out of the 1st battery. I think it's more accurate than the previous model. After calibrating it, I ran a marathon and it recorded the distance as 26.28 miles. Can't ask for better than that.

I buy this shirt to use as a race shirt. When it's hot this is the shirt you should be wearing. It holds but nicely to the abuse of running for miles with a pack on.

I've used the Spot for 5 months. I'm still on the same set of batteries. It works pretty good. I'm surprised that it gets reception in the woods sometimes and other times doesn't in the wide open. Always let it "warm up" and lock on before using heading out. That really increases your coverage. I would like to see an optional signal booster. I use the tracking a lot and thier website is great.

This Cable works perfect. It works on the T6 and the T6c. It's nice to have an extra cable at the office

I also just upgraded to the Fusion T6c and it's a great improvement. It has the same amount of memory but if I'm going to run more than 60 miles I can turn off the R-R recording and I can record for more than 100 miles or 24 hours. However your Training Manager will not count the workout correctly so don't forget to turn it back on.

I used this watch for just over 2 years. It never failed me. I wore it everyday for work and play. I used it in some pretty harsh conditions. I upgraded to the new model T6c.

This shirt is the thickist I run in. It's great for those chilly winter NW mornings.
