Osprey Packs Atmos 35 Backpack - 1900-2300cu in

Rating for this product: 4 August 29, 2010

A good day pack. The back webbing keeps the pack well away from your back and eliminates the sweating problem. I sweat like a pig when I hike and this kept the sweat from wetting the back of the pack. Plenty of room for even an overnight stay. You won't be sorry if you buy this one....

Vasque Summit GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's

June 28, 2010

I have both. The fit is FAR different. The Wasatch GTX fits much more comfortably around the ankle....the Summit grips your ankle like a vice. The GTX 10.5 was a little small for me...it made my right toe ache after a couple of hours of bumping up against the inside of it. The Summit 10.5 was a little more generous in length but was stiffer and over all was harder to break in. I haven't used either for enough time or hard trips to give opinion on the wear characteristics. Sorry.

Good Boots

Vasque Wasatch GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's

Vasque Wasatch GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2008

I agree with most of the reviews here. The boots were comfortable right out of the box. There were no defects in them. I have worn them most every day for about a month now, although I have not had them out on the trail yet. I think that the few bad reviews seen here are isolated events that should be taken with a grain of salt.

Now a few more months - I can tell you that while still happy with them, I have become aware that they are a whisker too small for me on the right foot. Toe aches after a few hours of bumping up against the tip of the boot. I am reluctant to buy an 11 for fear that it will be too large. I have gotten a pair of the Summits and they seem to be more generous in length.

The North Face Liberation Pant - Men's

December 25, 2008

The North Face sizing chart shows the L as fitting a 36-38 in waist.....the inseam info is listed as short, regular and long. But when ordering the item, there is no input area for the inseam needed. How do you order the correct length?
