Stomping Grounds:
Salt Lake City, UT -
Bio:
Born in WI, moved to UT as a kid and fell in love with the mountains, deserts, rock walls, slickrock, and everything else UT has to offer very early in life. Went hunting, hiking, fishing, camping, mountaineering as a kid with my father. Started racing BMX bikes on my own as a kid and then started competing in triatlons, and then marathons and long-distance cycling events. Went on to race mountain bikes and road bikes for a couple years. Enjoy cross country skiing, telemarking (randonee), alpine, and backcountry skiing, snowboarding, snow-shoeing, winter camping, mountaineering, rock climbing (mostly sport), and most any new challenge that comes up.

Marmot DriClime Base Layer Gloves
December 8, 2008
Dalia...I'd probably say not. However, any cover over the skin is better than nothing. The reason I say not is these are made more for a wicking baselayer to be worn inside another glove. If you're looking for UV protection, I would look for a thin glove with some sort of titanium oxide woven into the fabric. Titanium oxide will also enable items to transfer moisture super fast and to dry three times faster than standard polyester so it would be great for summer so your hands didn't get sweaty wearing a glove. I don't see any gloves like that on this site however.
