Great jacket, very waterproof, small hood

Backcountry.com Stoic 2.0 Shell - Men's

Backcountry.com Stoic 2.0 Shell - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 14, 2009

I am 5' 9 130 and I got the small. It fits snug but good. The coat is very cool looking and definitely waterproof. My two complaints are the zipper and the hood. The taped zippers are sweet but the main zipper is hard to get started. Once you get it going it zips up fine. I used to wear an arc'teryx coat for skiing and the hood huge and nice to put over my helmet. The hood on this coat is fairly small and will not fit over any helmet you could find. Overall great coat, zipper and hood my only complaints, still glad I bought it

Best Pole I've Used

Black Diamond Traverse Ski Poles

Black Diamond Traverse Ski Poles

Rating for this product: 5 October 25, 2009

This is by far the best extendable pole for the money. Even if you hardly ever need an extendable pole they are great because of the replacement parts. I was messing around in the lift line and accidentally broke a pole :(. The next day i ordered a new bottom half for 15 bucks and boom brand new poles. If you brake ordinary poles you have to buy a whole new set.

Good Jacket, not the warmest

Oakley Freight Jacket - Men's

Oakley Freight Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 October 25, 2009

This jacket is very nice and durable. I only have two complaints. The collar is like a scrunchie sort of thing like a high school letterman jacket. It kind of pulls on your neck and feels wierd. It is also not the warmest jacket i've had. The mountain hardwear down is much warmer but for the price you can't beat the oakley one. your choice
