Black Diamond WindWeight Glove

Black Diamond WindWeight Glove

Rating for this product: 4 December 22, 2008

Conditions: Humidity 52%, Wind N 17 MPH w/gusts to 21 MPH or so, Wind chill 7 deg. F., Temp 21 deg. F., Fair to partly cloudy.
Activity: brisk 45 minute to 1 hour walk.
Geography: N. Texas plains, nothing to block the wind except for the occasional house.
My hands measures 8 inches. In the men's large there was very little extra room to spare, pretty much a perfect fit. The seams inside the fingers of the gloves are large but livable (thus the 4 stars instead of 5). During my walk my hands stayed quite warm and the mild wind never got through these gloves. I have also used them in conditions where the wind was gusting to 30+ MPH with the temperature in the upper 30's to low 40's and was pleased with their performance as well. If the seams inside the gloves were just a bit more flattened out I would rate them 5 stars. In spite of this I would purchase this product again.
