Oakley Splice Goggle
February 22, 2011
what helmet would everyone recomend? do these goggles fit better with or without brimmed helmets? I have crowbars and the smith variant brim helmet, and the helmet bounces just a little on the goggles, not a perfect fit, do the splices have the same problem? thanks.

Smith Variant Brim Helmet
November 20, 2010
so i'm thinking about getting the heratige Clay evolve helmet, but who skis without music? the tune ups kinda kill the whole look. does anyone know how to remove the headphoens from tuneups and integrate them into the standard ear pads?
thanks.

Liberty Double Helix Ski
November 13, 2010
depends what you're skiing. if you're skiing sierra cement then I would say get 125 underfoot or less. even for pow days, 125 is plenty. For Montana, Canada, Alaska, etc...140 underfoot is acceptable. you just don't want to get the wrong skis for the wrong conditions. You buy the skis for where you're skiing, not to brag about who has the fattest skis, coolest graphics, or any other crap.

Liberty Genome Ski
November 13, 2010
Utah has good skiing, however, i think that the genome's might be overkill. If you were skiing canada or alaska powder everyday, sure genomes are your holy grail, but for utah, i would get the double helix. Especially if you want to mount them with dukes and go AT with them. hauling 141 underfoot skis up a hill would get tiring. double helix would be lighter and you'll have many more skin choices.
But, if you do have your heart set on genomes, then I know REI carries skins that are 140mm...I want to say Black Diamond makes them, but I'm not sure, check out REI's website.
good skiin!

what else does the jester have that the griffon does not?, I know Griffon is primarily plastic, held in by 2(or is it 3?)screws, and does not have the DIN setting that the jester does, is there anything else?

Marker Griffon Ski Binding
November 16, 2008
Should I buy the Griffon or the Jester? I primarily ski on harder, not always groomed runs, but love to ski powder and some park as well, will the plastic of the Griffon break on me?..oh, and i am an agressive skier, 160 pounds, using Salomon Lord skis (87 under boot) i love speed (tuck entire runs), so i need a binding to hold me in even if i hit something resonably sized
