  • Stomping Grounds:

    Northern Michigan
  • Bio:

Middle aged Mom. Active outdoors but don't jump off cornices, kayak class 4 rapids or run marathons. Just like to be outside.
Downhill ski when in the mountains (groomed blacks my idea of fun), cross country ski in Michigan. Learning to kiteboard (my son got me into THAT one). Kayak on the lakes. Big passions--snorkeling and marathon gardening. Love hiking.
Work all over the country for 10 days to 3 months at a time.
I'm not crazy, so don't look for me in extreme places.

DAKINE Concourse Double Ski Bag

DAKINE Concourse Double Ski Bag

Rating for this product: 4 January 12, 2009

This is a great bag. Protects skis well. Plenty of room for boots and almost everything you'd be skiing in. Rolls well. Only problem is the length. I ordered the shortest one, 185 cm. Now skis are so much shorter, the bag is really too long. My skis are not long enough to support the length of the bag, so it bends and part drags on the floor. I will be carrying both my downhill and cross country skis next trip. Maybe my cross countries will be long enough so it doesn't bend.

Osprey Packs SpaceStation 100 Rolling Gear Bag - 6100cu in

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2009

I travel a lot to places I might stay 2 or 3 months,so I have work clothes and play gear to take. At times I put the Three Stooges to shame with my juggling luggage act. This bag rolls easily and holds plenty. Extra tip, if you are a Rick Steves fan, get some of his packing cubes to organize your stuff as this is only a 2 compartment bag.

DAKINE Concourse Double Ski Bag

January 11, 2009

I have a 185 cm bag. The width is about 44cm. As long as it is wide enough, you should have plenty of room. Only possible problem is that if where your snowboard binding and ski bindings have to sit are in the same place, you might not have enough room. Could take some creative packing.

Patagonia Brushed Vitaliti Pants - Women's

December 14, 2008

Go with the small. I don't know if the brushed pants run different than the regular, but the regular would be way big for you in a medium.
