Arc'teryx Maverick AR Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Maverick AR Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 March 17, 2009

In all honesty, this is a hugely overpriced fleece with the name Arc'teryx slapped on it.

I have a Columbia and North Face fleece that are 65 dollars and 75 dollars respectively and feel warmer in those.

This fleece only has 3 pockets, two on the side, and one on the arm (which I will never use...). No internal pockets.

Not very impressed...

Completely Warm Winter Gear

Arc'teryx Titan Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Titan Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 8, 2008

Bottom line- I have never been in a warmer winter jacket. I was trying out some jackets from North Face and Patagonia and the warmth this jacket provides is well worth the couple bucks more. This is one of those jackets you can go out with just a t-shirt underneath when it's 10 degrees outside and windy (as a matter of fact I just did that tonight to take out the trash). It's one of those jackets when you're wearing it, I have to ask friends around if it's actually cold outside cause you really don't know cause you don't feel a thing. And seriously, I'm quite sensitive to cold, so that's an impressive feat.

Very worth it- try to get it on sale.

Really Nice Backback

The North Face (Hot Shot) Vostok Backpack - 1850cu in

The North Face (Hot Shot) Vostok Backpack - 1850cu in

Rating for this product: 5 November 17, 2008

This is a really durable, slick backpack. I was thoroughly surprised at how thoughtful North Face was when putting this thing together. The small pockets gets me so organized with loads of convenient and well-sized pockets. And the main compartment is very spacious. There are buckles all over the place for adjustments and for biking. The quality is excellent and durable. I really grew to love this backpack.
