Salomon Gun Ski

Salomon Gun Ski

Rating for this product: 3 May 10, 2009

I have skied the salomon 1080s for a number of years, i tried the gun and was really disappointed. of course being a lot fatter they are going to be slower on piste, but i found them horrible on hardpack. they would not set an edge. but off-piste they are great

Nordica Zero Alpine Ski

Nordica Zero Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 3 May 10, 2009

They are nice ski but i like the enforcer or the blower, the kirsh next year, over these. both of the other skis turn a lot better and set an edge better, but still have enough under foot 94mm and 110mm respectively

K2 Hellbent Alpine Ski

K2 Hellbent Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 March 11, 2009

My friend got a pair and i kept telling him they were too fat, they wouldn't be able to ski anything but pow. I skied them on the groomers, and i took back everything a said. They take a little work to get them turning but they can carve some sweet turns. And of course they are beautiful in the pow

Nordica Enforcer Alpine Ski

March 10, 2009

These skis are pretty sweet on the hardpack for there size and shape. they were surprisingly good, held and edge well and stable at high speeds.

Nordica Jah Love Alpine Ski

March 10, 2009

not good for an every day ski....really a powder only ski......go for something with a 90 or 100mm waist at the widest for an everyday ski...volkl mantra, line prophet 90 or 100,salomon lord would be good examples ---------------------------If you are looking at a really fat everyday ski check out the k2 Hellbent.

Nordica Zero Alpine Ski

March 10, 2009

I haven't tried the zero's with tele, but i don't know how well it would ski. They are nice skis, good in the park, but a little slow on the hardpack. The nordica Enforcer is only a little bit skinnier, 94mm to the zero's 104, but is awesome in all kinds of snow. For a tele setup I would recomend the enforcer over the zero.
