Stomping Grounds:
Pacific Northwest (WA) -
Bio:
I enjoy many activities outdoors. I would not classify myself as hardcore in any one activity, but more adventurous than the average person. In the pacific northwest I like to camp, hike, snowboard, snowmobile, wakeboard, scuba dive, mountain bike, dirt bike, and hang out with my wife and our bernese mountain dog. We are avid travelers and try to get out of town and visit new places as often as we can.

The North Face McMurdo II Boot - Women's
January 5, 2012
Amy - My wife has these boots and used them on a snowshoe trip in Mount Rainier National Park. She said they worked great and her feet stayed dry and warm. The only thing to consider is that these are not super high. If the snow is really deep you may want to use gaiters or snow pants that have a tab at the bottom to hook to your laces to keep the snow out.

Eagle Creek Twist 65L Travel Pack - 3965cu in
March 2, 2011
Hey Susan - For a little more money you could go with the Osprey Meridian 22. Its a better pack/roller bag and just fits perfect as a carry if you detach the detachable day pack. It's a great pack. My wife and I just got back from Argentina and she loved the pack.

Just my two cents!
