Not much thought put into the fit

Mountain Hardwear Transition Tight - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Transition Tight - Men's

I was excited to get these, but after trying them on, the excitement faded quickly. The crotch hangs down too low. Normally thats fine with me, but I wanted these for trail running and mtb'ing. If I pulled them up so the crotch was in the right spot (i.e. I could move my legs without resistance from the pants) the waist band was up to the bottom of my ribcage...I'm not 80 yet!!! Wish I could comment on the performance of these, but I sent them back as they were just not going to work for me. Instead I picked up a pair of the Gore Windstopper cycling tights (unpadded) and those are a 10x better fit.

I sent it back as the back was too curved and it felt as though all the weight was on my waist. I constantly felt as if the pack was leaning back no matter how I adjusted it. I do have the Deuter Race X Air and love it, but wanted something bigger. I did like the rest of the design of the pack; pocket placement/organization, zippers, and the side compression straps are awesome as you can cinch them up and make this pack flat as a pancake, or open 'em up and haul a couple of days worth of clothes.
