Everything is true that is stated in all these other reviews. It's great stuff and works well. I've never had any cramping problems, etc... The tablet format is the best, easiest way to carry your electrolytes with you.

In order to get nuun into tablet form and make it the right amount of sweet they had to use sorbitol (think sugerfree gum or apple juice). Some people mentioned a light carbonation. What they tasted is the sorbitol effect and not carbonation.

When first using nuun it might take a while for your body to get used to the sorbitol. Sorbitol is used as a laxative as it gathers water into your large intestine thus inducing bowel movements. So that burping, bloated feeling you get when you try out nuun hopefully will pass as you get more accustomed to it. Just stay close to a bathroom during your workouts & avoid that hip pack in the mean time. Enjoy!!!

Since using this sock, I can only think of one time that I got a blister and that was my own fault for wearing gore-tex running shoes in 95 degree weather for 50 miles. They keep my feet dry, while trail running up here in the wet, muddy Northwest.

The downside is their life span being wool. I can usually only get 100-150 miles out of a pair before they start wearing thin. For their price they should last longer.

Nice snug fit, I bought the size small for men's 8.5 shoe size.

Coming from a beefy Salomon shoe, the fireblade seemed lighter, faster, had more grip, and a lower profile. It has great traction on just about any surface that I have tested so far. A few runs in these shoes and I improved my time on my daily trail runs. I credit this to the light & grippy feeling you have in them. They cool/wick easy, but they also don't have any protection to keep water out. I also feel more susceptible to spraining my ankle in them due to the low profile. The laces usually stay tied. I also wear a gaiter with them to help keep trail debris out due to the low profile.

I have about 400 single-track trail miles in last year's model. They made one change for the better in this year's model. The lacing loops used to be plastic and would bruise the top of your foot during 2000+ ft descents. Now they are synthetic material, but they still cinch up evenly just fine.

Excellent shoe at keeping the water/cold out, but once the water gets in they do a good job at keeping it in.

They start to get warm when the outside temp gets above 75-80 degrees.

They work great in wet, cool conditions. The tread is set up, so that they don't collect/hang on to too much mud/debris.

I did roll my ankle inward hard in this shoe once, but I don't think it was the shoes fault, as my foot landed on the side of a rock.

I had not trouble with the Kevlar lacing system. In fact it removed all lacing troubles. I have heard of two incidents where the Kevlar lacing broke and would leave the user stranded.

Would definitely purchase another pair.

Get the new Comfort Heart Rate Belt. This one worked for a few months, then slowly died. It would start acting up at the beginning of my run and would take it about 5 minutes to dial in my acurate heart rate. It eventually quite working all together over the next month. Changed batteries, reset settings, re-synched it with my watch. Went to all of Suunto's help message boards and tried a few tricks. Still doesn't work. I even synched my Suunto t3 to my friends heart rate belt to make sure it wasn't my t3 that was broken. I believe moisture was allowed inside and somehow damaged the belt.

Easier to carry, lighter, does not fall off, can be put on in a hurry and Click, ... In addition to not falling off it doesn't consume as much battery, which vastly increase its duration. It has all the good from the previous model and none of its drawbacks. There is no excuse not to have it!

If you are accident prone like me these are an added neccesity to your rack. Nothing like standing up and whacking your head on a metal bar.
They stay in place and I haven't lost one yet.

Living in the Northwest, I've had one of my copperheads skewing brackets rust over and lock up on my. It took some serious lubrication and torque to unfreeze it and get it working again. I might suggest pulling it off your rack if you are going more than a week without using it.
