Good sandal, not worth the $cratch though

These sandals are awesome. Stylish, comfy, and well made. The only problem is that they are little or no better than a pair of rainbows or other well made leather flops that you can get for 1/2 the price. If you can afford to blow the money (I can't and shouldn't have) get them. If not go with some rainbows.

I got my girlfriend this jacket, and she is 5'9'' thin with long arms, and the medium fits her great. Patagonia usually gives there jackets a little more length in the arms and longer in the back then other outdoor companies, and their jackets tend to run a little big. I think that it would fit fine, and worst case scenario u can close the end of the sleeves with the hook and loop closures and make sure your shirt sleeve is inside of that to keep it dry. You should be good on length though. If you get the large you're thinner frame will be swimming in the body of that jacket

Patagonia Rain Shadow Jacket - Women's

This jacket is truly sweet. Lightweight and waterproof. I just bought the white for my girlfriend, and she really likes it. She has been wearing it non stop, rain or shine. It's perfect for any cooler spring day because it's lightweight yet windproof. All the quality you'd expect from patagonia, and the "off white" color looks REALLY GOOD. Buy this before the sale ends!

Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket - Men's

This jacket is great. I got it to hike in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where in the summer it rains a lot in the evenings. Whether it opens up on the summit or in camp, it doesn't matter because this jacket will keep you dry in any kind of rain conditions. Compared to any other shell I've had, this is clearly unrivaled in terms of weather protection. It isn't really fully featured, pockets etc. but if thats something you need Arcteryx makes products like that too

Great Jacket

The North Face Apex Paradigm Softshell Jacket - Women's

I just bought this jacket for my girlfriend and she LOVES it. It is very warm and it looks great. She is 5'7'' and about 135 and a Medium fits perfectly. She says that it keeps her very warm, and she is always cold. In temps of 30 degrees it can be worn over light "going out" clothes like a blouse or dress. Very pleased with BC customer service. UPS dropped the ball on shipping big time, so Backcountry credited me the shipping cost.

Great jacket, and Backcountry is the best online retailer ever!!

Answer to: "Regular R4 or Lightweight R4 - which would be a better option"

Patagonia R4 Fleece Jacket - Men's

Definitely lightweight. I have both, and I only wear the regulator R4 when I'm not doing physical activity. Especially under a shell, the R4 will be way to hot. The lightweight R4 has R1 panels in the armpit so that if you open your shell's pitzips you can ventilate. This will keep you from overheating, but will definitely keep you warm as well. Get both but use the lightweight under a shell.

Bomber jacket

Backcountry.com Stoic 2.0 Shell - Men's

This jacket is awesome!! I own a Arcteryx Beta AR, and this jacket is just as good if not better for half the price. This proprietary fabric is legit. Backcountry.com is awesome and so is their customer service. I was having trouble tracking my order through UPS' website, so I sent them an e-mail and they kept me up to date on the progress of its delivery.

It's good to see that a company is interested in more than just taking your money, and I will never shop anywhere else, between their products and their prices on other brands there is no need to.
