Petzl MYO XP Headlamp

December 15, 2011

I live without electricity and need a headlamp that is the most efficient possible in terms of battery life. What do you recommend? Is there a rechargeable one? or is it better to get rechargeable batteries w/an efficient headlamp?

Patagonia Torrentshell Jacket - Women's

October 23, 2011

I am the exact same height and weight, just got my Torrentshell in Medium and it is perfect. Long enough, room for layers underneath, Fully waterproof, not too big. LOVE this jacket. You should be happy with a Medium.

Mountain Hardwear Cohesion Stretch Pant - Women's

September 24, 2011

Are these pants 100% waterproof? I am not sure what the waterproof ratings mean. They look like the nicest fitting, non balloony rainpants i've seen. I'd like to buy a pair but need them to be waterproof.
thx

Why are the Evo and Denali Ascent Snowshoes LESS expensive than the Lightning ascent, especially when Evo and Denali are advertised as being the most durable/tough backcountry shoe? what are the differences?
