Salomon XT Wings Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Salomon XT Wings Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 6, 2009

I got this shoes for bopping around town in Chicago as well as hiking in UT/AZ during October. They're great for both. While hiking, terrain went from desert/sand (similar to dunes at the shore...loose sand), dry rock, and wet rock. Grip was good, snug fit and keep my feet dry w/o getting warm.

I have a narrow heel and medium, bony forefoot and XTs were sick. Just what my feet needed :)

Originally, I purchased the pack for travel, business/laptop and the gym. But, just got back from hiking in UT and it was great for that too especially since you can expand or compact as needed.

I just purchased this black hoody...love it. A fitted, flattering sweater that's warm, too. I'm 5'5 130lb and the medium fit perfectly. I'm going to get the brown one, too.

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Down Jacket - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 9, 2008

Wore my jacket today (in Chicago) with wind chill of 29F (winds upto 15mph), and I was very comfortable. I didn't feel either wind or cold, and underneath only wore a long sleeve t-shirt. Size-wise, medium was perfect (I'm 5'5 and 130lb). As others said the length is on the shorter side, and yes, it's just past the top of the butt, though for a jacket vs parka, it's perfect...especially, for bopping around town or the slopes when you don't want to be a walking sleeping bag :)
