If the gloves are clean you shouldnt have to, but if you used them in the dirt or with salt ect ect just wipe them down with water. I have learned that you apply Glove Proof heavy, soak them with GP and wait then wipe the extra off.

That was the reason I bought one, not good for that temp, good until about 45-50f and trust me you wont sweat at 60f in this.
