This thin little gloves are amazing. I wear them whenever I'm doing something active outside. I was out while it was -30 degrees (without wind chill... Alaska) for about four hours and not even my finger tips were chilled. I was staying active but that still say a lot for these gloves. These are also a lot better wind stopper's then I've experience in the past with other "wind stopper" fleece gloves.

It was -31 degrees this morning (without wind, if there was wind then I'd have broken out my windstopper tech fleece) and I was out hauling wood to the house. I was wearing just this and a lightweight layer under neath while outside for about an hour. I was actually sweating underneath. I'd have never guessed that I would be that warm wearing just those two items. I wasn't making any records by how fast I was moving either. It was only moderate activity but yet stayed incredibly warm. I actually unzipped the fleece a bit.

I bought these for my girlfriend who has insanely cold feet ALL of the time. The bottom of the slippers inside is super cushy and has at least a solid 1/2" of that fur in there to make your feet very comfortable and toasty warm.

Supposedly from previous reviewers the clips are reportedly difficult.... I couldn't agree more! Clips make setting up a tent easier then picking your nose. Whether in heavy rain, or blowing sideways whiteout snow storms, or blue bird clear sky, the tent setup is amazingly quick and easy. Quick and easy tent setup means that should the weather be less then desirable then you'll be inside your shelter and away from it that much faster. Once I went clips I'll probably never go back to the pain in the butt sleeve system.

I'm not really seeing where the complaint is coming from about the fabric. If you want to see stiff, hard to manipulate fabric then go check out a stiff Arc'teryx bag. This bag only has some of the panels that are "stiff". I view those panels as durable! I don't want a bag that is going to blow out when I'm 20,000 feet up. This bag has proven to not even need any sort of a rain cover either. It's weather proof! ha! Besides, how much do you need to manipulate the fabric anyways?! If you're having to 'manipulate' any fabric then maybe it's because you're trying to wad too much into the bag and need a bigger one. I love this bag and it's held up to the mass amounts of abuse it's taken. The bag still looks new.
