Vasque Wasatch GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 7, 2009

I am a big guy and have walked my way through many pairs boots over the years. These Vasque Wasatch GTX boots are the best. I have one pair that are a few years old and are almost broken in...lol.
I bought a new pair last year and I am using them for day hikes a overniters this year till I get them trained. Super comfortable right out of the box and my older pair are still waterproof and in great shape. I highly reccomend these boots for backpacking in all weather.

Jetboil Gourmet Cooking Set

Jetboil Gourmet Cooking Set

Rating for this product: 5 July 7, 2009

I recently replaced my old Peak1 stove and messkit with Jetboil products. I purchased the 1.5L pot and this Gourmet Cooking Set. I also got the French Press for the PCS - this a must for coffee drinkers! After a few overnights in the Adirondacks I know that I will never use anything else. Well worth the reasonable price, very durable, and amazingly fast.

Jetboil 1.5 Liter Cooking Pot

Jetboil 1.5 Liter Cooking Pot

Rating for this product: 5 July 7, 2009

After many years of using a Peak1 stove and an old Mess Kit, I recently replaced EVERYTHING with Jetboil products. I purchased the PCS, the Gourmet Set (to get the fry pan and stabilizers), and the 1.5L pot. Since i fish on my trips, the frypan was a must although I have cooked fish in the 1.5L pot too.
This is without a doubt, the single best gear purchase I have made recently!

Jetboil JetPower Fuel

July 7, 2009

I have used the Coleman 3250 canisters on my Jetboil PCS and did not have any problems. I am not sure why BAinUt gave you that answer. I also checked with people at three other equipment suppliers before I tried using the Coleman fuel on my Jetboil. I did not not want to risk damaging my stove.
