A Wrong Island, NY girl making her mark on the world. I've lived in 6 states on three coasts and 5 major bodies of water. Not to mention two European cities (Munich & Paris). Love Sailing and coaching Sailing. And Snowboarding. No tricks, just fast down the hill with slow carving turns. My daughter can't wait to get off skis and ride like mom... maybe next year, when she's six.

The North Face Bella Alta Winter Boot - Women's

The North Face Bella Alta Winter Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 25, 2008

I got these boots from my AWESOME brother for Xmas last year (thx Chowder!). They have served me well... super comfy for apres-riding in Tahoe and PC. They were a lifesaver the night my "friends" decided we should walk from downtown up the town lift trail to their house on Upper Norfolk, at midnite, in a sub-zero coldspell. My traction was great, but 30 minutes later, I was gasping for my albuterol inhaler - My feet were the last warm place on my body... so now I'm shopping for a new jacket! NOTE: zipper can be tough on the back of your leg, so wear taller socks (smartwools are my fave!).
