Stomping Grounds:
Salt Lake City, UT -
Bio:
I was born and raised in Clinton, MS. I moved to SLC about two years ago to marry my beautiful wife. Since moving out here I have gotten into rock climbing, backpacking, ice climbing, and this winter skiing. I take any chance I can get to be outside doing what I love.

Arc'teryx Atom LT Hooded Insulated Jacket - Men's
September 9, 2009
This should be the perfect jacket for that. It will also work great as a jacket to layer on days that it is really cold. This jacket uses a synthetic insulation opposed to down so it can take a beating as far as weather is concerned.

Sterling Chain Reactor Canyon Sling
September 3, 2009
You can use this daisy chain like you would a regular old sling to tie into an anchor station or belay. This just gives you different lengths to choose to clip into opposed to just one on say a 60cm sling.

Kayland M11+ Mountaineering Boot - Men's
August 27, 2009
This is a cold weather boot for sure. It has a lower profile than most mountaineering boots out there. It has Event line for water proofing as well as 200 grams of Primaloft insulation. So I would not personally wear these spring/fall boot

Backcountry.com Prime Power Stretch Top - Long-Sleeve - Men's
August 4, 2009
An XL will fit you for sure. I am 6'3 210lbs and fit in an XL. It isn't supper loose or tight. I would describe it as a slim fit. If you want it looser you may be able to pull off a XXL.

The North Face Cipher Windstopper Jacket - Men's
May 14, 2009
It will work best as a mid layer in the heart of winter. I wore mine under an Arcteryx Pro-shell and it worked great. On a a warmer spring ski day it would be plenty because of the breathable materials under the arms of the jacket.
