The new toe strap idea rocks! It does make strapping in faster and easier. Just watch out for the strap catching your toe when stepping out or you may find yourself on your face. I suggest you buy the Salomon boots that match these bindings. They work together as a great pair and are very comfortable. No need to over tighten them to get the control you need. I have been riding these for 3 seasons now and a buddy who has been riding them for 4.
