Backcountry.com Goat Klean Kanteen - 27 oz

negative, but i'm sure you can rig something up pretty easily. i go for these over the aluminum ones - they've all got a funky metal/garden hose taste to me...but this one is stainless steel, a bit heavier, but no funny taste.

CamelBak BlowFish Hydration Pack - 742-1017cu in

CamelBak BlowFish Hydration Pack - 742-1017cu in

Rating for this product: 4 May 5, 2009

I've been using this pack mainly for mountain biking and occasionally longer trail runs. I like it overall, but would never use the expandable zipper (it has plenty of storage for my needs without it). I tried once when I wanted to carry some elbow armor and it just became unruly on my back. Since the pack is relatively narrow, expanding it moves most of the weight away from your back making it awkward for balancing on a bike and i would imaging the same if you were walking. Overall I use this regularly and would definitely recommend to a friend.

SOG Knives Flash II Knife

SOG Knives Flash II Knife

Rating for this product: 4 May 5, 2009

I have the cheaper and lighter, but still solid Zytel handle version with a partially serrated blade. I carry this knife just about everywhere and use it on just about everything. Easy one handed operation when you are in a pinch makes this knife a life saver. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile and dependable blade.

Salomon XA Comp 3 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Salomon XA Comp 3 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 5, 2009

pro's: relatively light, durable, comfortable, cool looking
con's: hot, not super well ventilated (but they're waterproof gortex, so i wasn't expecting breezy)

I've been running on these guys for a few months now and like them very much. These are my first pair of Salomon running shoes, and will definitely purchase the brand again in the future - especially if all of their shoes feel as good on the feet as these.
