SmartWool Yampa 2 Jacket - Men's

December 4, 2009

I have this jacket and would say it tolerates light rain/snow reasonably well for a wool jacket. That being said if you can avoid it I would recommend doing so and if you intend to use it in a heavy rain -- it's not going to be a good jacket for you. However, if just by chance you get caught in a good storm a quick trip to the dry cleaners will be necessary to return it to a wearable state.

Backcountry.com Siphon Street Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men’s

Backcountry.com Siphon Street Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men’s

Rating for this product: 5 December 1, 2009

So first of all, I'm 6'4 180lbs and own both a L and XL. The large fits a bit snug and only goes down to the hip while the XL fits like a more traditional casual hoodie and goes down a bit past my waist. Depending on what you're looking for in a sweatshirt -- size up accordingly. That being said I love the texture and warmth... a great deal when it's on sale!
