These are big, bright, and beautiful. My sister bought them, but they were too big for her. As best I can tell the 'LE' edition are the same as the vanilla Wormsers, just bigger. They are definitely way out there. All my other sunnies are dark and functional. These scream "I'm wearing sunglasses, but more importantly I like to party."

Very happy with them, especially since they were on SaC.

Hasn't dont much besides roll around in my bag on a camping trip. The scale on the actual compass is sort of busy, but whatever. Tool-less declination adjustment works well, although it was a bit tricky at first. You pinch the vial of the compass while you twist the ring. The first adjustment was very hard, but once it loosened up a bit it was very easy.

This compass is an $18 insurance policy against dying 'cause you're really cheap. Just don't forget the map.

...it's loud. For years I used a Fox 40, but then someone dropped it overboard. This is a great replacement.

Serious bonus points for using a sheet bend on the lanyard.

Just got this in the mail for my sister. Build quality and fabrics were higher quality and appeared nicer than I had hoped for. The softshell material is soft, not noisy, just very nice. The fleece lining is ultra soft. The cuffs have a stretchy panel and a velcro strap, so you can keep them velcro'd tight but still be able to put it on and take it off easily. Good hood adjustment too, can cinch it back so the brim covers your face but doesn't obscure your vision.

Can't comment on fit or function, but out of the bag this is a great piece. Definitely going to keep an eye out for the men's edition on SaC.

Just got this baby out of the box, so these impressions are from walking around the house.

First off props to the bag it came in: made completely out of corn. It was tasty, after I added salt and butter.

The jacket is very light, as you might have guessed from the specs. When I first put it on I freaked a bit when I saw so much light through the fabric. But after fluffing it up and redistributing the down a touch it looked much better. The color, which my sister laughed at when I showed her the jacket online, looks fine in person and got my sister's stamp of approval. She even tried to steal it from me. Thankfully she weighs about 100lbs and my medium fit her like a burlap sack.

Which brings me to fit. I'm 6'0" and about 152. Jacket fits great. A little baggy around the chest with just a shirt underneath, but the wrist and waist seals keep the warm air in. With the hood on and the buttons buttoned (which makes a great seal as well) I could immediately feel the heat starting to build up. Taking 2 selfies in the mirror was about all I could handle in the 72 degree weather over here.

The hand pocket is nice. Full insulation on the part of the jacket that's under the pocket, and the pocket itself is lightly insulated. I packed the jacket in there, and it is indeed a serviceable camp pillow. Haven't tried but pretty sure you could get the whole jacket inside a Nalgene.

Great first impression, super happy I picked it up from SaC.

Great fleece! It's very light but shockingly warm.

Pros: warmth, weight, athletic fit, chest zipper behaves, breast pocket works nicely.

Cons: a little short (I'm 6'0", wear the medium), collar is a little big (doesn't do well under shells with narrow collars; I have a bit of a problem with my Stoic 2.0).

These are pretty standard shorts. My 32" pair is loose fitting, which is annoying because I'm a pretty standard 32. But with a belt they're pretty manageable. The cargo pockets and durable material make these shorts kind of heavy. The pockets are nice and big, but that can sometimes contribute to heavy shorts that want to fall down.

Good build quality, nice style (a little long for my taste).

I got these off SAC where I saw one other review complaining about fit. I'm 6'0", 155lbs, and a reliable 32. These pants fit me perfectly. I really like the cut, they make me feel like a million bucks when I walk around in them, especially when I crouch or sit down: the articulated knees work great. They're not baggy, which I hate, but they're not restricting either. You feel them on your legs (can't tell if it's the feel of the fabric or the cut really), but because of the stretch and the cut it doesn't feel bad at all.

I was worried they would look too technical, but they don't. They're not shiny, and they don't make too much of that swishing noise you get with some pants. Also the cargo pocket is pretty low key.

I've only worn them a couple times in moderate weather, but they seem perfect for all year wear, except maybe in heat.

If they perform great in heat and in rain/snow/etc then they'll be my favorite pants, and would be worth full price. Otherwise it's a solid buy at the SAC price.

UPDATE Summer 2011:
It's been a great year since getting these pants. They've taken me to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and they were my only pair of long pants (except for rain pants) for 2 months of travel through China, Tibet, and Nepal, including 10 days of trekking to Annapurna Base Camp. They have performed incredibly well, from the heat and humidity of the low altitude parts of the Nepalese trekking, to the well below freezing temps at the summit of Kilimanjaro. The zippered back and hip pockets really helped my peace of mind while travelling. They layered great over Patagonia Cap2 pants and under my Marmot Oracle rain pants, mostly 2 layers at a time, but I wore all 3 layers for summit day on Kilimanjaro. As I said, they were my only pair of pants for 2 months, and I wore them every single day in China, as weather was poor most of the time. They didn't smell, dirt and mud came of easily, they dried quickly, and they were durable. And I wore them around town without getting weird looks for wearing grimy mountaineering gear.

Definitely my go-to outdoors pant, for any weather in any season.
