Weird fit, but still cool

I really like these pants, but the fit is kinda weird. I'm 6'1" with about a 33" waist and tried the L on in a local store before buying on BC.com. WAY too big. So I bought the M, which is still a little too big around the waist (fixed by wearing suspenders), but now the pants seem a bit short at the ankle. I am an old dude who doesn't see the point in having waterproof pants for snowboarding if you're going to let them hang below your butt, so if you dig that look, my problem is not your problem.

Otherwise, the pants keep me warm and dry even in the frozen north of Idaho and all the pockets are a plus. I also love the removable liner because it's super comfy for the drive home or for hanging around the house, although it does tend to pill.

Smartwool is my favorite material for a baselayer. Keeps me warm and comfortable even on the coldest days snowboarding in Wyoming.
