Patagonia Locean PFD

December 4, 2008

I thought I'd write this because, even though I have not owned this PFD, it is a Type 3, and therefore regarded as not suitable for the open ocean. So people who buy this for the open seas, be warned! I suggest you buy a PFD Type 1, it is much much better.

The smallest size the pacsafe comes in is 55, right? Well, I have a 48L hiking pack which I would consider locking with the pacsafe 55, but will the mesh protector still work with something smaller?

October 4, 2008

I am thinking about buying this pad to replace my self-inflating one, but I am not sure about the comfort of this pad, as I sleep on my side. Is this pad comfortable for side sleepers?
