Frends The Coupe

Frends The Coupe

Rating for this product: 5 October 12, 2011

The Frends The Coupe earbuds are a great product. The cloth wire insulation is more aesthetically pleasing than the rubber or plastic insulation on most earbuds. The buds themselves also have a chic look. The pause/play button on the wire is subtle and seems to work well with an iPod. I'm not sure, but I believe there is a built-in mic as well, which works magnificently when the earbuds are plugged into the computer for skype. I imagine the mic works work equally well for an iphone or other smart phone (which I do not have).
It's a simple product, for basic needs, but I would definitely recommend.

They're just poles, right?

Joystick Spicolli Ski Pole

Joystick Spicolli Ski Pole

Rating for this product: 4 April 17, 2010

Unless you're racing at an extremely competitive venue, I can't imagine why you would want more of a pole than is offered in the Joystick Spicolli. It's a pole. It's an aluminum tube with a basket on one end and a handle on the other.
The Good: This pole has unique paint which is kind of fun and will set you apart from the crowd in the lift-line.
The Bad: The grips that come with these poles are a low-quality plastic. If you're like me, that's a not a big deal. If you want something better, the grips are easy to replace.
The Bottom Line: Why would you pay more for a pole that will do the exact same thing and not look as cool?
