Arc'teryx Stealth Jacket - Men's
October 1, 2008
This jacket could be called a heavy weight wind breaker in my mind. It is going to resist a bit of wind and water, but probably shouldn't be relied on as a weather blocking jacket. More of a casual around town jacket that will keep a bit of weather off you, while being very comfortable. Could be compared to the Marmot Driclime or Arc'teryx Squamish Windshell as far as wind and water resistance go.

Arc'teryx Stealth Jacket - Men's
October 1, 2008
Fortius is a stretch woven plain weave fabric made of continuous textured nylon/spandex filaments. It is similar to Schoeller Dynamic.Arc'teryx products made with Fortius or Gore-tex are both treated with the same DWR treatment. Gore-tex is %100 nylon, and Fortius is %84 nylon and %16 spandex. The DWR sticks to Nylon a lot better than stretchy spandex, so the DWR is going to stick to Gore-tex a lot better than it does on Fortius.
