  • Stomping Grounds:

San Fran area and anywhere else I can travel to
  • Bio:

I'm originally from Ohio, went to school in Michigan and was a trip leader for the Outdoor Adventures program and on the Ultimate Frisbee team there. Worked as a Ranger at Philmont Scout Ranch for two years, lived in Montana for a bit, then KC, then Chicago, and now San Francisco. I love to climb, snowboard, run, bike, backpack, whitewater raft/kayak/canoe, and do just about anything and everything outdoors.

Nice Pant, but not for Curvy Girls

686 ACC Stiletto Pant - Women's

I loved the look of these pants, but ended up returning them because the fit was too slim. I have a curvier figure type - small waist, but fuller through the hip/thighs/butt. The medium was too small, and the large was too big...

Great gloves

Burton Gore-Tex Under Glove - Men's

Burton Gore-Tex Under Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 13, 2009

I got these in Mocha for my husband and in Black Heather Diamond for me. My husband and I both wore these without liners during some HEAVY snow and they kept us both totally warm and dry! Even when we had our hands in the snow quite a bit!! I have a circulation disorder (Raynaud's) and usually can't even wear gloves because my hands get too cold, but not with these - and they could be even warmer with the liners and if you add a heat packet to the zip pouch on top of the hand. They are quite tight if you wear the liners, but the liners are a great glove to wear alone around town. If you want to wear the liners with the outer glove, I'd recommend you order a size up.
