NICE

Solid pack. I like it because its simple and strong. It has plenty of storage space for the basic essentials, which is all I need. books, sandals, layers, water, swimsuit, sunglasses, keys, wallet, nylon hammock, and more. Highly water resistant. Bottom of pack sloped up to keep the load close to your back. drawstring closure works good too. It is a floppy bag because it is all just thin (strong) nylon. The thing I might add is compression straps, so the load doesnt bounce when you run. Great bag.

Not an Aircore fan

Osprey Packs Stratos 40 Backpack - 2200-2600cu in

The Osprey Stratos 40 is a nice pack. It is built of quality material and that is refreshing to me in a world of cheap stuff. The only thing I dont like about this pack is the Aircore feature. It is comfortable, yet it seems to steal space from the overall capacity of the pack. I put a box of tools in the pack (weight test) and shoved things in around it and it pressed the plastic disc of the Aircore panel forward into my back. Overall, the pack is sweet, I am just not a fan of the Aircore back panel suspension.

I had the same question when I ordered mine. TNF website only shows mandrake green as an option so I went with that. I couldn't be happier with the color. It is definitely a lighter green than in the pic, more like an apple green. Its awesome!
