Best sunglasses I've owned

Costa Del Mar Harpoon Polarized Sunglasses - Costa 400 Glass Lens

Costa Del Mar Harpoon Polarized Sunglasses - Costa 400 Glass Lens

Rating for this product: 5 April 1, 2009

Got the tortoise shell with green mirror lenses a few years ago for my birthday and love them. The green mirror gives produces a brownish tint that really brightens things up in low-light situations. They work great in direct sunlight too. I've had them for two and a half years now and they are still going strong. I let someone try them on and they dropped them onto the pavement, which caused a little scratch and the lenses to rattle in the frame. Sent them back to Costa and they fixed the rattle and put in a new lens at no charge. Just bought a pair of Isabella's for my girlfriend, hope they perform as well as mine have.

Great Pack

Kelty Red Cloud Backpack - 5000-6650cu in

Kelty Red Cloud Backpack - 5000-6650cu in

Rating for this product: 5 February 17, 2009

I have the 6650 and have used this on numerous weekend trips (a little overkill), and it has performed wonderfully. I hope to get a long trip in over spring break. This is the best pack I have ever used, it outperformed an older Kelty of mine that I took to Philmont. Wish I had bought this sooner!

Great pant

Cloudveil Zero-G Pant - Men's

Cloudveil Zero-G Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 17, 2009

I have really enjoyed these pants, they have performed well. I've skied in them two times with only silk thermals underneath (once around 20 degrees and another time around 30) and I was plenty warm while moving, but got a little cool on the lift. The other time it was 7 degrees. I wore a pair of silk thermals and fleece pants underneath, and was toasty all day. I'm traveling to Fairbanks,AK in about a week, so we'll see how they perform there.

Warm!

Patagonia R3 Fleece Jacket - Men's

Patagonia R3 Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 17, 2009

I've worn this in single digits with only a long-sleeve shirt underneath and remained toasty. Only negative is no drawcord around the waist. Works very well as an intermediate layer while skiing in cold conditions(wore it under a shell in 5 degrees) and remained plenty warm. Doesn't block wind entirely, but better than my MH monkey man.

Ski and around town

Cloudveil Serendipity Jacket - Men's

Cloudveil Serendipity Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 17, 2009

Worn it as an intermediate layer when skiing in 20-30 degrees and it worked perfectly. It regulates heat well, so you can wear it when the temperature is in the 50s. I've really enjoyed having this and will definitely be looking for another deal on a Cloudveil product.

Cloudveil Zero-G Pant - Men's

February 16, 2009

I am around a size 33 waist and am concerned that a medium won't fit if I gain any weight. How much room is in the medium? Would the large be too large?I ended up getting the large and it works perfectly. The waist is really adjustable and they fit like a dream.
