hiking in flops!?!!!

Chaco Hipthong Sandal - Men's

These flops are one of the best I have had. Once you break them in you will prob not want to wear anything else. I have hiked in these flops in CO, SC and oh yes Alaska. I love the added straps over the top of the foot. They don't fly off mid step like so many others do and that annoying flip flop noise is completely eliminated! If you are looking for new flops you should def try these out for yourself!!! I love em!!!! couldn't ask for much more in a flop!!!

this beenie came with some spy goggles i bought. I don't have a huge head and this thing bearly fits. It def does not cover my ears but it would do the job in a pinch. There is def better out there. I would not pack this for a winter backcountry trip that is for sure! Good for mild weather, late fall or just chillin.

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2008

I have not put this thing to the true test yet but when we get that fluffy white stuff we all dream about this winter, I will. I took it into the backcountry last week where we got temps in the teens and it had ice on the outside every morning. Vents very well!!! I expect this tent to perform when I need it to and trust me, it will get the oportunity. For the price... Great buy!!!!

Arc'teryx Needle 55 Backpack - 3234–3661cu in

I think this pack could withstand just about anything you throw at it and then some. It also has plenty of storage for my 4 season 3 person tent, 0 degree down bag, 2 stuff sacks full of cold weather clothes (all inside) the poles carry well in the pocket on the outside and still has some room. The two lid pockets (one outside and one under) hold all those goodies such as your first aid kit, head lamp, and your tooth brush when you need quick access to those often needed items. Water proof zips and super hard core awesome material make this pack a must have. It was covered in ice for 6 nights and not once did anything get wet when it thawed!!! Get you one!!!!

Prob warm but BULKY!!!!

Marmot Trestles 0 Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Spirafil

Marmot Trestles 0 Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Spirafil

Rating for this product: 2 October 17, 2008

This bag is probably warm but it is huge!!! If you are looking for something to fit inside your pack, go with the down 0 degree never summer or something else. My never summer 0 degree gets to 1/3 the size this one does and i couldn't be happier. If you car camp, save your money but if you do any mountainerring or backpacking in cold weather, go small and go down. spend the extra money and be happy with your new bag!!
