Warm and comfortable jacket

Marmot Luster Jacket - Women's

Marmot Luster Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 26, 2012

I haven't worn this on the slopes yet, but it's warm and the neck seems like it will be great at eliminating chin chafe, which was a problem in my latest (and unfortunately also new) ski jacket. This is sized a bit big so I'd advise to order down - I'm a 2 to a 4 petite in tops, and the XS (which the size chart indicates is for size 4-6) worked out well. I also bought the S to try and it's too big, so I'm keeping the XS.

Pretty color, fit just not for me

Arbor Lowback Henley - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Arbor Lowback Henley - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 March 11, 2010

The barn red is a super color, but the fit was too large, so I returned. I read other reviews about Arbor shirts and read they cut small, but I didn't find this to be the case (the medium was way too big on me - I'm typically a small).

Also, I was not a real fan of the low cut back (I expected as much, as it is called 'lowback henley', but I didn't like my sports bra showing up there - all mine are racerback and that is what I'd chose to wear under this top). A regular bra should work fine with it. Love the customer service at Backcountry, though. Fantastic site.

Nice pants.

The North Face Precita Pant - Women's

The North Face Precita Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 February 14, 2010

I like these pants a lot - the fit is flattering (the longer pockets lie flat against the leg and are not bulky). I am 5'2" and did not order the petite as petite inseams are often just too short (esp. for cotton pants, which these are). The 2 regular fit great, and I had them taken up an inch to get the 31" inseam I wanted. They look great with my North Face button downs. :)

Nice jacket, beautiful color

Patagonia Upside Of Down Jacket - Women's

Patagonia Upside Of Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 5, 2009

I bought this a few weeks ago, and since I live in Charlotte, NC (for now, moving soon), I have not yet had the chance to wear it out. But, I will. :D I agree w/ the previous reviewer that you can wear casually or a little dressier (ie. jeans and heeled boots) on chilly nights out. The ollalaberry color is lovely, but it looks like it's sold out now.
