Good, light-weight trail shoes

La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe - Women's

La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 August 27, 2009

This was my first try at Sportiva's and I was pleasantly surprised. I run trails in the midwest so far from super-technical terrain but they are a great light-weight option as far as trail shoes go. I have high arches and wide feet and while they don't offer a ton of arch support I've done trail runs as long as 3 hours in them with no foot problems other than a little discomfort on the ball of one foot, but that's something I get from almost every shoe I've tried. Overall, for the price, great light-weight option!

Great pants if you get the right size!

Mountain Hardwear Winter Wander Pant - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Winter Wander Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 30, 2009

Bought these too big, 10's, as I usually run to higher sizes in these types of brands. If they're too big the pockets stick out strangely but I liked them anyways and sent them back for an 8 which makes them a really flattering pair of pants. I'm 5'7", about 135 and this was perfect for me. Perfect for snowshoeing in Wisconsin winters with a pair of tights underneath. Love them!

Fabulous Trail Shoe

Salomon XT Wings Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Salomon XT Wings Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2008

I've raced up to 30 hour adventure races in these shoes and they are THE BEST. Great for your typical trail run and are even okay for stretches on pavement. Dry really quickly and stand up to just about anything. Great traction.
