Vaude Tec Rock 32 vs Aracanda 30

Vaude Aracanda 30 Pack - 1830cu in

Vaude Aracanda 30 Pack - 1830cu in

Rating for this product: 1 August 24, 2011

I brought this bag, for short rock climbing trip. I seldom utilize this bag. Mainly I use to store my harness and rock shoe. After I brought this bag within two months, the skin start of come out of the backing at the backrest. I send it back for a replacement. The 'new' one is having the same problem as well. I felt no point replacing another one, they just glue it back. After a year, the bag developed rips in the seams in the external. Even rarely use it. No doubt the design is nice but it's too expensive for such flaws. They claim living in South East Asia, the humidity is too high damaging the glue system. Now they are replacing me with Vaude Aracanda. Yet to collect but I hope the problems will not occur again.

Sea To Summit DryLite Towel

April 4, 2010

Hi Maitely.. I didn't not get any answers but I finally got the Drylite.. It work well, but you have to get use to it as the 'feeling' is sticky to the skin of its high absorbent. I travel to climb around.. so i think the Drylite is more compact compare to Tek towel work better for me..

Pocket Towel vs Dry Lite Towel vs Tek Towel

Which is better among all the three. Undecided which one to get. To me pocket towel looks small, Dry Lite seems dry faster (turn off is without a bag for it), Tek towel looks like it absorb more water. I plan to get a Large size soon. I need advises to help me to decide. I need something light, fast drying, good absorption.

If you're looking for rope, this is what you should get

Mammut Tusk Climbing Rope - 9.8mm

Mammut Tusk Climbing Rope - 9.8mm

Rating for this product: 5 October 22, 2009

I have been using this rope for more than a year now. Sport climbing whether indoor or outdoor, this rope is light and almost dirt-free. Its a very good rope I would recommend for beginners. Its easy to handle. Its much cost effective compare to Beal.
