SmartWool PhD Medium Snowboard Sock

December 18, 2009

Anybody know if these are constricting around the calf area? I have rather large calves and my current ThirtyTwo socks don't have that much elasticity around that area and it is uncomfortable

Outdoor Research Primavolta Heated Glove - Women's

November 7, 2008

There is in fact a removable liner. I believe Backcountry made a mistake.Unfortunately i do not believe there are levels of heat: just an on and off button. And there are mediums available now :)

Arc'teryx Sidewinder SV Jacket - Men's

November 7, 2008

The SV is a heavier and more burly jacket. The SV stands for severe while the AR stands for all around as said by others below. The cut is also a bit different and the AR has a a stowable hood while the SV does not.

Best Gloves for the Money!

DAKINE Scout Glove - Men's

DAKINE Scout Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 7, 2008

These gloves are awesome. First of all they look awesome and are most definitely stylish. They are very cozy, and because of the liners, you can wear them in the winter and just take the liners out in the spring. The liners are also great for just chillaxin around in the cold. The price definitely can't be beat especially because of the included liners. Most gloves with liners cost upwards of $60. We all know Dakine makes quality products, and these most certainly don't disappoint. Be sure to pick up a pair of the Dakine Scouts for the coming season!

Super steezy gogs!

Oakley Crowbar Goggle

Oakley Crowbar Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 November 7, 2008

The problem that i have with most all sunglasses and goggles is that since i have a rather wide face, everything tends to look uber small on me or just don't fit right. Oakley always seems to have the answer for this (I wear Oakley sunglasses too ;) ). The crowbars are AMAZING. Even with my wide face, the crowbars look beast and fit me perfectly. They are so comfortable, and they have some of the best peripheral vision i have ever seen in a goggle. They are very well vented and they never fog. The spherical lens is very high quality, and as all Oakley lenses, there's no distortion. They definitely live up to Oakley quality. Get yourself a pair!

Giro 2008 G10 MX Helmet

November 6, 2008

I'm pretty sure "no wave" indicates the design on it. If you look at the helmets without "no wave" there is no design. This also is true with the goggles and other helmet styles. All of the "no wave"s have some sort of design on them while the ones without "no wave" have nothing on them.

Hmmm...

Sessions Optimist Ski Pant - Men's

Sessions Optimist Ski Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 17, 2008

These pants are pretty sweet. The only thing i have a complaint with is that though Sessions says these pants are a baggy fit, they weren't really all that baggy on me. It might be because i have pretty beefy legs, but still.
I must say that they have some pretty sweet features though.
