The North Face Padda Amphibious Shoe - Women's

These shoes are absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anyone that does a fair amount of kayaking or canoeing. I have not done a long hike in these shoes but the water drains real well and cannot see why they would not work out for that reason. The fine webbing on the shoes keep most little rock out of the shoes. Usually what is left in mine when I get done with one of my adventures is a little sand in the bottom. They do a pretty good job keeping your feet cool and keeping you stable when trying to portage out of a river with slippery rocks around. you do not need to wear socks with these shoes, and i have noticed over time that they have not gotten stinky because of it. :) They seem true to size and very durable. Happy shopping!

NRS Hydroskin Gloves

I got these last summer and have used them a few times kayaking in all weather conditions. They kept my hands warm in as low as 35 degrees and keep your hands from getting wet. I had tipped my kayak last week with these on and they can only be waterproof for so long. submerging them in water for a longer amount of time will make them wet all the way through, although they weren't all that uncomfortable afterwards. They air out pretty fast. I would definately recommend this glove very comfortable and have a great grip!
